Help, safety, and support
Aloud is operated by Quentin Mayo. Quentin personally handles support, safety reports, and privacy and deletion requests at aloudlove.support@programmingsecurely.com.
Something is not working
Tell us what happened, which screen you were using, your device and app version, and the email address on your account. Do not include your password, card details, or private journal entries.
Report or block someone
Use Report or Block on the person’s profile or conversation. Reports go to our private moderation queue. Blocking stops new interactions and hides the conversation in both directions. If you cannot sign in, email the support address with the member’s name or profile link and a description of the problem. Mark urgent safety concerns clearly. This inbox is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger.
Child safety
Aloud is only for adults 18 and older. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation, grooming, sexual content involving minors, and attempts to arrange contact with minors. Report suspected underage accounts or child exploitation in the app or to the support address. Do not download, forward, or attach suspected illegal images. Provide the account or message reference instead. We review these reports, remove violating material and accounts, and report suspected child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authority as legally required.
Your data and account
You can export your personal writing in My space → Account. Delete your account there or request assistance by email. We may need to verify account ownership before fulfilling a request.
Useful even on your own
Your journal, voice notes, personal compass, and small steps work without publishing a dating profile or finding anyone nearby. These tools support reflection; they do not provide medical care, therapy, or emergency support.
