Aloud asks you things like this

If you're at a store, how important is it that your partner can reach the cereal on the top shelf?

It isn't. I'd just ask someone. Needing help has never embarrassed me.
Answer your first questionNo bio to write. No filters to set.

Nobody answers a height filter honestly.

Dating apps ask what you want, so people list what sounds good rather than what they actually hold. Someone filters for six foot because it reads well — then happily dates someone shorter. The spec and the person diverge, and everyone ends up feeling rejected on criteria nobody really has.

So Aloud doesn’t ask what you want. It asks you something sideways, and listens to whyyou answered the way you did. That part can’t be gamed, because you didn’t know it was coming.

  1. You get asked

Questions arrive at signup and keep arriving, from the categories you chose, at the depth you chose. Your profile grows instead of sitting finished.

  2. You answer, in writing or out loud

Say it in your own voice if you want to. Warmth, humour and hesitation survive in audio. They do not survive in a bio.

  3. You decide who hears it

One answer, one person, at a time. Sharing the words never shares the recording unless you say so — and taking it back actually takes it back.

What we don’t collect

Dating carries real physical risk, so this is an architecture decision rather than a policy page. We never store your precise location — no coordinates exist anywhere in the database. Recordings live in private storage and play through links that expire in a minute. There are no read receipts telling anyone when you were last here.
